Yesterday while sitting around in some Horde lumber mill I sent in guild chat a request to do a run.  Ilse answered, “where?”  I dunno, but after a few minutes someone suggested Shadowfang Keep.  I haven’t done that one in a while - so we ran it.  I’m not going to type long, but we had fun and got some good loot to sell.

Yesterday morning I woke up at 3:30 AM to feed my daugther. After that I thought it would be a great time to get in some WoW since I haven’t really had a good session in a couple of days. I logged in and started guild chatting. I was in Ironforge at the time and ended up inviting two new recruits to the guild. At some point Aariana and Mateso decided that we would do a Shadowfang Keep run. “Great!” I thought to myself - I missed the other night when Gigawatt wanted to do the run.

So; we all went to Silverpine Forest. We all seemed to take our own time getting there. I think I have a complex about how weak my priest is, I asked Aariana to escort me from Southshore to SFK and she said something along the lines that I should be able to handle myself. And you know what… I was! I grabbed some herbs on the way and even ran into a two horde players. Luckily for me, as advised by Mateso to turn off my PvP flag. I would have clearly died, they might have tea-bagged me, who knows - it would have been a mess either way.

We spoke about it, briefly, last night but we’d like to do a 5-man (10 max) instance in Shadowfang Keep (SFK). The level range is 18-21, but come any way and have a great time. The time isn’t set in stone, but we’re thinking late, like 12:30 AM or 1:00 AM. Personally; I’m going to log in at midnight and get myself and whom ever ready. If you want to join us, just ask anyone in guild channel.

Directions to SFK

You’ll need a flight point to Southshore. If not then you can hike it from Wetlands through ArathiHighlands (pick up the FP at Refuge Point) and follow the road west to Southshore.  Once you get to Southshore , you’ll need to head to Silverpine Forest (to the west). Dangerous travels so make sure you have an escort, but loads of fun!

Ok; maybe my title is a bit too harsh, but it really burns me how many items (at my level) are soulbound. I went to bed early last night and woke up around 3:30 AM. I wasn’t feeling tired so I gently snuck out of my bed (not to wake the wife) and logged into WoW. I have about 20/25 quests to rummage through, but Ashenvale is a bit dangerous right now so I thought I’d do Stockade since I had a quest for it. I got on the LookingForGroup channel and posted my availability for SWS. I saw another group chatting about SFK? I inquired what was SFK and they told me Shadowfang Keep. Sounds cool, I’ve never been there.

So; we meet at Wetlands and make the long journey to Silverpine Forest. It was hilarious! While traveling to this dangerous place, it was so surprising that any 30+ mob we came across - targeted me out of everyone. It’s like they had a vendetta on priests. I would heal, shield, psychic scream - but they just kept coming. This one spider wouldn’t give up his meal (me). You know how after a mob gets out of his zone, he’ll eventually release his agro and return to his spot. Not this one - he followed us in into Refuge Pointe (Arathi Highlands) and none of the alliance NPCs would help us. They just watched me DIE!!! We laughed it off and kept moving north-west.
