What a tale of war, deception, pain and brotherly trust. Well, not really, but I could fake it. At this point I’m not even into the Lore anymore. I just want to hit 70. I’m a lite role player and from 20 - 45 I read all the quest details and for a moment is was really neat learning about the conflicts these NPCs were having. After 50 it was all about getting to 60 and then getting to 70. Screw the lore, just get me to an end-game status. I said all of that to say I don’t even remember how I got into this quest-chain. All I know is I was back at The Hinterlands fighting the troll menace.

I’m experiencing a lot of spirit traveling back to my corpse now that I’m in the 50+ zones. My priest just seems under powered and that cloth armor feels like paper clothes. I’m respecing to a full shadow priest and I’m going to focus on getting better gear. I’ll look at a couple items and see if I can get them via auction house or dungeons. Some items look to be tailor-made, hmph - maybe it’s time I focused on Kathrine a bit and got her tailor skills up to par. Here’s my purposed talent tree, on WoWHead
I ran an instance, Blackrock Depths, with Icesseyes and Madmaxx last night. It was totally crazy, and how I found out about it was totally cool. I logged on yesterday to do a bit of guild recruiting (focusing on the lower-level guys) and I checked GroupCalendar. I usually check it, just to make sure I have the sync down correctly, and to my surprise there was an event that I didn’t create! I quickly checked to see what was going on and Jordi scheduled a Blackrock Depths run for 7pm, server time. Of course, Madmaxx was online and I asked him about it. Jordi scheduled it for maxx and if anyone wanted to run they were more than welcome. I marked in the calendar that I was a “maybe” and went on my merry way.

It’s amazing how you get used to quest chains or a never-ending supply of quests as you travel through Azeroth. Now that my priest is level 48, to my surprise, I’m kind of barren. I have over 10 quests, but they are all linked to dungeons, such as Zul’Farrak. Yah! Try soloing a priest in a dungeon… not much left of you after the first couple mobs. I’ve hung on to these quests since level 40. My home boy, Jordi, is going to run me through Zul’Farrak this coming Tuesday. It’ll be nice to get my quest log free of these (d) quests.
I’m using WoWHead.com to search for quests in Tanaris. I was shocked to see that I had all the quests I could get until I reach level 50. One quest led me to Un’Goro Crater… another scary jungle-type zone with much bigger raptors appropiately called Devilarus. I sure do look forward to fighting them. Well; WoWHead has a good amount of level 47 quests there - so it looks like that’s my grinding spot. Man I hate jungles, it’s so tough to see what’s around you.
Last night I was up til almost 2:00 am; I knew I’d feel the pain when I woke up. Which is normally around 5:30 or 6:00 am. I told my wife, “I just have to finish this one quest and then I’ll be in bed.” YEah; that didn’t happen at all - she probably knew it as most wives do. This quest took me forever to complete, well actually it was two… or was it three in the same area. Luckily for me there was another player in that area (a lock) that had the same quests. Just the thought of me doing it by myself, I probably would have finished closer to 4:00 am.
He was a bit of a fumbler though, his beast kept pulling mobs at the wrong time. He wiped and I almost wiped - I had 4 same-level mobs on me. It certainly got me scared, but I was able to buy some time until he came back. That certainly let me know that I’m getting better - but I still suck at PvP. I think the lock got control of the pulling method later on though.
Eyes of the East has slain the Defias’ leader, Edwin Vancleef. This blow to the local militia was excuted by a few brave souls from EotE. Last night, May 8, 2008 around 9:00 PM (server time) - a group of assassins were sent to the captial of the Defias Brotherhood, located in The Deadmines, to put an end to Vancleef’s rein of terror in the land of Westfall and Elwynn. The group consisted of Leeanne, a level 17 rogue, whom is also an alt for Marfe Jokin. Jimaay, a level 20 warlock, whom is an alt of Jimay. Helakk, a level 15 rogue, whom is an alt to Tullwynis. Hellchild, a level 32 hunter, whom pulls like crazy - he ended up being the group’s tank. Finally; a level teenish holy priest that was picked up from the LookingForGroup channel. Leeanne added her as a friend, but her name escapes her for the moment.
