I’m looking for more WoW podcasts and I came across Casually Hardcore from the WoW Radio family. It’s fun - there are three people and they are pretty entertaining so far. The coolest thing was something they advertised; it was an energy drink called Mana Potion. I immediately went to their site and bought 2 cases for about $11 and change. Paypal FTW! So; I’ll let you know how it tastes and if I start growing hair where I never had before.

As you can tell from the bottle it looks really cool and the hosts took a swig of it on air. I’m not certain if their reactions were good or bad, but we’ll see when ever I get my case.

I came across WoW Radio the other day looking for some more podcasts and they have a WoW Idol contest. You can vote on their home page, but I listened to the contestants and some of them were cool.  I really like “No PUGs” for it’s creativity and “Strength and Honor”.

I’ve been thinking on how I can use some of my less used toons, such as “Fergatron” (Gnome/Warlock) and “Alexvic” (Blood Elf/Paladin) and how can I lessen the time I’m spending going to the AH after every couple of quests to sell my loot. It got to the point where I wouldn’t do much questing, but spent my time in Darnassus at the AH.

I listened to my newest RP podcast (Mischief & Mahem) and their guest has toons specifically for banking. I know this is an old idea and just about every REAL WoW player does this, but it never clicked until today. After my bag gets full I can simply mail my items to “Fergatron” and have him camp out at the AH. It’s brilliant!!! While I go off and level my character I can put some time into “Fergatron”. That’ll work because the AH/Mail system at IronForge is so much better than Darnassus.

I posted a topic on The Instance’s forums to see how I can increase the guild membership and activity. I got some good feedback, but basically it was just to advertise (since I already had the site and form up). I was a bit intimidated by it, but I wrote a macro to broadcast on channel 1 and 2, if I wanted to I could quickly switch, but as long as the main text is there. So; I did just that and by the end of the night we had two new guild members - Excellent! Now; I’d like to see more action in the forums, but I guess that’ll take some work.

I found a new WoW podcast to listen to and I’m particularly interested in it. This one is about roleplay and it’s hosted by someone in my realm (awesome). So many podcasts are by other folks NOT in my realm. Her name is Mabon and she has special guests from time to time. She has a young girl with her a lot, she sounds like she’s 12 or 13, but she plays WoW (got a level 21 toon). I added the link to our blogroll - so check it out. I’ve always been interested in roleplay, but had NO IDEA how to start or all that it may entail. Listening to her show - I have an idea now, but it’s time consuming. You have to create a backstory to your toon and things you do in-game will always stick with you. So; if another RP player pokes your eye out, then you should always have a patch on your eye. Something to that affect.

I’ve heard about Ventrilo from The Instance podcast, but the voice quality really is awesome.
