Eyes of the East

This dungeon is totally crazy and crazy long.  Last night I logged on around 10:00 PM EST (7:00 PM server time) and saw a couple of the guildies on.  I asked if anyone was going to do the Zul’Farrak run and a couple folks said yes.  Cool - even our fearless leader, Aariana showed up… or I should say that I was on when our leader was on.  It was good seeing Aariana and she even agreed to come and help us out.  It started out good, Jimaay met me at… I don’t know what to call it… the city of Tanaris!? or just the ol’ dirty outpost named, Tanaris.  Either way our adventure for the next hour and a half started there.

I ran an instance, Blackrock Depths, with Icesseyes and Madmaxx last night.  It was totally crazy, and how I found out about it was totally cool.  I logged on yesterday to do a bit of guild recruiting (focusing on the lower-level guys) and I checked GroupCalendar.  I usually check it, just to make sure I have the sync down correctly, and to my surprise there was an event that I didn’t create!  I quickly checked to see what was going on and Jordi scheduled a Blackrock Depths run for 7pm, server time.  Of course, Madmaxx was online and I asked him about it.  Jordi scheduled it for maxx and if anyone wanted to run they were more than welcome.  I marked in the calendar that I was a “maybe” and went on my merry way.

I’ve been thinking on how I can use some of my less used toons, such as “Fergatron” (Gnome/Warlock) and “Alexvic” (Blood Elf/Paladin) and how can I lessen the time I’m spending going to the AH after every couple of quests to sell my loot. It got to the point where I wouldn’t do much questing, but spent my time in Darnassus at the AH.

I listened to my newest RP podcast (Mischief & Mahem) and their guest has toons specifically for banking. I know this is an old idea and just about every REAL WoW player does this, but it never clicked until today. After my bag gets full I can simply mail my items to “Fergatron” and have him camp out at the AH. It’s brilliant!!! While I go off and level my character I can put some time into “Fergatron”. That’ll work because the AH/Mail system at IronForge is so much better than Darnassus.

Hey folks, just wanted to show you my character at his latest level. So far my priest isn’t the worse character in the world, but I’m starting to see what kind of class I REALLY like. It looks like the Paladin is my class. I’m starting to miss the hands on POWER that I have in that class. The hunter is cool, but now that I have a level 30, I’m kind of bored with sending my pet, then bowing the person to death. My priest has NO DPS, but as long as I can put up a shield I can do some damage to my enemy via spells. I like that and I don’t like that. Any way I’ve been spending more time in the AH than I’d like - I need to level up my cooking and my primary professions.
