Hey folks, I hope all has gone well in my absence.  I’m slowly journeying back to the land of Azeroth.  After a couple of months of not playing I have learned to kind of balance out some of my habits, nightly tasks, etc.  The kids are getting better, my wife is doing fine, and I stopped working overtime at work.  I still have my consulting business though - so that’ll take up some of my nights.  Anyway; I’ve realized that WoW was my main stress reliever when things got really HOT for me.  So; I’m coming home to filter some of my stress and keep me sane.

Hey All, I am so excited right now. I finally got World of Warcraft working on my linux-box running Fedora 8. I’m basically 90% ready to completely switch to linux. The only thing still keeping me dual-booted is Quickbooks. I got Adobe Dreamweaver installed today and tried it out - so far so good. It was a long grooling task, but in the end (like any other stumbling block I encounter with linux), I’ve learned a lot about my system/hardware and how linux works.

Right now I’m watching my son downstairs and I’ll soon post a picture of my desktop with WoW running. “Elune has graced me this evening!”

Red CrossHey all, I just came home the hospital - it was an outpatient surgery, but every thing went fine. So I’ll see the doctor Monday and a hand therapist some time this week. A friend of mine sent me this link andI’m gonna look into it this week so I can play WoW on my linuxbox.
