Marfejokin, Aariana, and Mateoswrath

Mafejokin, Mateoswrath, and Aariana hanging out for a picture after slaying SFK’s boss.

Yesterday morning I woke up at 3:30 AM to feed my daugther. After that I thought it would be a great time to get in some WoW since I haven’t really had a good session in a couple of days. I logged in and started guild chatting. I was in Ironforge at the time and ended up inviting two new recruits to the guild. At some point Aariana and Mateso decided that we would do a Shadowfang Keep run. “Great!” I thought to myself - I missed the other night when Gigawatt wanted to do the run.

So; we all went to Silverpine Forest. We all seemed to take our own time getting there. I think I have a complex about how weak my priest is, I asked Aariana to escort me from Southshore to SFK and she said something along the lines that I should be able to handle myself. And you know what… I was! I grabbed some herbs on the way and even ran into a two horde players. Luckily for me, as advised by Mateso to turn off my PvP flag. I would have clearly died, they might have tea-bagged me, who knows - it would have been a mess either way.

Gnome WarlockMan; I need to get some sleep. I wasn’t supposed to be on that long last night. I started out with Marfejokin - Jordi helped me do some quests, but because of our level gap - I didn’t get much from the mobs. After all that running around I figured I should just do them on my own if I really want to quest. I probably could have gone up one or two while questing. It’s cool though.

After that I played my banker alt, Fergatron and found out that he can learn swords. I’m so pissed off that my priest can’t wield a sword that I went to level my warlock to at least 10. Good thing is he’s in Ironforge so I don’t have to go through Wetlands to get to Stormwind. I’ve been going to bed around 4:00 AM twice now - I can’t afford to do it again - I can just feel it.

Gnome WarlockI’ve been thinking on how I can use some of my less used toons, such as “Fergatron” (Gnome/Warlock) and “Alexvic” (Blood Elf/Paladin) and how can I lessen the time I’m spending going to the AH after every couple of quests to sell my loot. It got to the point where I wouldn’t do much questing, but spent my time in Darnassus at the AH.

I listened to my newest RP podcast (Mischief & Mahem) and their guest has toons specifically for banking. I know this is an old idea and just about every REAL WoW player does this, but it never clicked until today. After my bag gets full I can simply mail my items to “Fergatron” and have him camp out at the AH. It’s brilliant!!! While I go off and level my character I can put some time into “Fergatron”. That’ll work because the AH/Mail system at IronForge is so much better than Darnassus.

Undead Shadow PriestLast night was a really crazy night in Azeroth. I started out the night, telling my wife, “I’m only going to do two quests and I’m headed to bed.” How many of you know from experience that that’s never the case. Everything started off fine; I was in Ironforge at the weapons master’s place. The previous night I tried to see if my priest could learn two-handed mace, since he knew one-handed mace. To my surprise I can only learn staves, dagger and one-handed mace – what a jip!

I made it back to Darkshore trying to figure out which quest to do first and that’s where the night veered off road into a 3+ hour run. I met a guy that wanted to go to The Barrens. I’ve never been there so I said yeah that sounds good, where is it? He said it was a long walk, but I auto-followed him – man that option is great!
