This is a friendly reminder to everyone in the guild that poor behavior can and probably will result in your being ejected from the guild with extreme prejudice.
This includes (but is not neccessarily limited to):
- Loot ninja’ing. This is what prompted this reminder - I had word of someone running in and stealing a chest out from under other people who were trying to fight their way to it a couple days back. While I know we have some new players, behavior like this can (and will) still result in a demotion or possible ejection if it continues.
- Unneccessary/uncalled for Griefing - its OK to mock the Horde since they can’t understand you, but doings so to other Alliance players is a huge no-no. Treat others as you’d expect to be treated yourself.
- Being a creephat. This includes ’stalking’ other players, acting unduly freaky, and otherwise just being unpleasant to be around.
- Officer sass. We’ve chosen our officers for a reason - they’re decent people and for the most part know their stuff. When they say don’t do something or toss advice to you, don’t be an idiot and turn the flames on them. Odds are they’ll demote you to initiate, drop me a nice letter explaining why, and I’ll then kick you.
- Lying to the officers. Yes, its happened before. yes, I’ve kicked people out for doing so. No, I don’t appreciate having to do this in the slightest.
So just take this as a friendly reminder from your Guild Master - I take it as a personal affront if people in my guild act like jerks, because it makes all of us in the guild look like jerks as a result. I don’t like being a jerk, so don’t do this kind of stuff!
This is an official warning, so don’t complain if you get zapped for violating this rule. (Which rule? Look at the post title!)
