Let’s get right to it…everyone in Azeroth is going to need to raise some cash at some point. Grinding and questing will eventually get you the money you need, but let’s face it, it will take a while. If you really want to make some money your best bet is to get familiar with the Auction House. Around level 35 I realized I was going to need a significant amount of money to get a mount once I reached 40. The website www.wowwiki.com has a helpful guide to making money (http://www.wowwiki.com/Making_Money_Guide) which includes tips for using the AH in addition to other money making methods such as farming, disenchanting, dancing, etc.

Oh what an awesome night. I’ve been in Stranglethorn Vale just puttin’ around and I started to do this quest for snuff (we all know it’s WEED). There’s a cluster of small camps just south east of Booty Bay and I headed there to collect this “snuff” from the local Bloodsail Raiders. I partied with a level 38 druid, but I left to take of my kids, etc. Later on I loaded up the game and started playing that area again. I went on my normal routine of pulling mobs one-at-a-time, killing the minons first and going after the warlocks. I fought a swashbuckler and when I looted him, I noticed this neat looking rod that dropped. I thought nothing of it - it’s probably some stupid wand that I can’t use.

Hiya folks, I’ve posted the minutes (raw chat log) of our officers meeting in the forums, but I believe we had a very productive and fun time. Here are some of the results from that meeting:
- We, as a guild, will try and gain our 4th bank tab. It’s unconfirmed, but we think it’s 1000g for the next tab. Any help from the guild will be more than welcomed.
- Thursday night is guild RAIDing night. Dungeon TBD (to be determined)
- Enchanting party has been accepted by the officers, but members must bring their own mats (materials). Date and time are TBD (to be determined)
- Officer meetings are tentatively set to Tues/Wed at 8 or 9 PM EST, bi-weekly.
- Guild meetings are set to once a month and the location will vary each month.
- In order to get our guild members to have a better way of communication we will restrict guild bank access until each member has registered an account on the forums. Once it has been confirmed the restriction will be lifted.

I worked on the theme a bit tonight. I always wanted a cool background - like what the WoW web site had. I didn’t want to completely bite off of them, but I ended doing so. I found another landscape wallpaper, but I’ll need some time to play with it. It’s not easy working with GIMP instead of Photoshop. I have to relearn these tools. The original theme was Coolblue and I really liked it.

Since we have a new gallery available to us, I thought I’d share my $0.02 with you all about taking great… ah… mediocre screenshots. You kind of need to think of yourself as a photographer - get into that mindset of looking for the right angles, the right scenery, and taking that shot. It may take 2 min or up to 10 min to find the right screenshot.
