Disclaimer: I am doing this just to keep the information alive. For any reason if the sites I’m referencing goes down then this awesome information for priests will be lost. I got this guide from Free Warcraft Guides. Most of the information is the same, but I made modifications here and there. It also looks like this was made prior to Burning Crusade and in Alliance zones (sorry Horde, your priests are on their own). If I can I’ll update it periodically if I find that something works better.
Summary
This tip is on how to level a priest (sorry for the picture mix up above) in alliance zones. The idea is NOT to grind all day, you get more experience points by completing quests and grinding at the same time. [I don't know what this sentence means] Do very few quests from level 30 to level 52. Then do quests as quickly as you possibly can until you ding at 60.
Talent Tree
We all have our “dream” end-game spec., but I’ve learned that while leveling it’s best work on the talent spec. that will give you the most damage per second (DPS). You can respect at any time, it just costs more money each time. So; for priests - go the “shadow” priest route and then when you get to level 70+ you can respect to what you really want your priest’s talents to be.
Levels: 21 - 24

Where: Southeast Duskwood (Tranquil Gardens Cemetary)
Mobs: Level 21-23 Skeleton Warriors/Mages
Comments: The area is packed with mobs and has a fast respawn rate. Should get around 18,000 EXP/hour here. Do the quest titled “The Night Watch” because it is a really good grinding quest. Pretty close to the graveyard.
Levels: 24 - 26
Where: Northwest Duskwood (Raven Hill Cemetary)
Mobs: Level 23-25 Skeletal Fiends/Horrors
Comments: If this area is packed with players, you can always jump over to the Ghoul area north of the Skeleton area. Watch out for Mor’Ladim. The second “Night Watch” quest is here. Raven Hill is rather far away from the graveyard; don’t die as you will have a long walk.
